Here's how we can help you:

Absent Voting - If you are away from home on election day, but you are still in Queensland, you can vote as an Absent Voter at any polling place in Queensland. Click here to check for the address of a convenient polling place.

Postal Voting - Click here to download a postal vote application form or ring the Voters' Helpline (1300 881 665) to have an application form sent to you. Postal Vote applications close at 6pm on Thursday 7th September.

Pre-Poll Voting - will be available from Monday 28th August.  Pre-poll facilities will be available at the office of the Returning Officer for your District, at most Magistrates Courts, Brisbane City Hall as well as Interstate and Overseas.  Call our Voters' Helpline (1300 881 665) for more details. Pre-Poll Voting finishes at 6pm on Friday 8th September.

Electoral Visitor Voting - is available for persons who have a serious illness, a disability or are in an advanced stage of pregnancy (or to people who are caring for these people).  Click here to download an application form or call our Voters' Helpline (1300 881 665) to have an application form sent to you. Electoral Visitor Voting applications close at 6pm on Thursday 7th September.

Declared Institution Voting - commences Tuesday 29th August.  Electoral Officials will visit hospitals and aged care facilities to offer a voting service.  Click here for more information or call our Voters' Helpline (1300 881 665).
